What's On

The Whitstable Choral Society will be performing Handel’s Israel In Egypt in Canterbury Cathedral.

This oratorio is the most luxuriantly choral of all Handel’s dramatic choral works, and the cathedral will resound to the music of this rich oratorio, giving the work the setting it deserves.

The choir will be led by David Flood, Organist and Master of Choristers at Canterbury Cathedral, and accompanied by the Festival Chamber Orchestra.

This local Choral Society has a very sought-after reputation for the quality and range of its performances. The Society dates back over 80 years, and performs at least four times a year around the Canterbury district.
